Brabantio is daddy dearest to Desdamona, in love with Othello. He is agin the whole thing. He's quite the fancy guy. I liked the role very much, his heart breaking, he gives Desdamona to Othello, admonishing them and foretelling a bit of the tragic end. A bit too tragic for my tooth. Got to perform for the first 45 minutes of the show, then got drunk for the next 3 hours waiting around for bows. Boredom will do that. And it was a college production.
